methods of providing the service

The Library provides an interlibrary loan service with the libraries of the provincial, regional and national territories. The interlibrary loan and document-delivery services are ensured between libraries that guarantee compliance with the rules governing these services: users, through their Italian or foreign reference library, can request the loan of books and the reproduction of articles or parts of books, always in compliance with current legislation on copyright, not available at your library.

Service Requirements and Conditions

To apply for an interlibrary loan it is necessary:

Be registered;
Carry out a personal search of the Libraries on the opac.sbn.it website;
Communicate the list of texts by completing and sending the form below;
Read and accept the terms and conditions of the service below (timing, possible costs, maximum number of texts that can be requested);

How to apply for an interlibrary loan

Fill in the form below with your data;
Accept all the conditions in the "terms and conditions of the service" section;
Send the loan request by clicking on the "reserve" button;
Wait for a reply via email or mobile phone from the Acclavio Library.

Other information

The arrival times of the work depend on the lending Library and the postal service: the Acclavio Library is not liable for any delays in receiving the text. The user is responsible for the works from the time of receipt until their return and, in the event of loss or damage, undertakes to reinstate the work or its value. The Acclavio Library notifies the interested party by telephone or e-mail of the arrival of the requested document and sends it back after its return, at the end of the loan period.

I accept the terms and conditions of the service

By accepting the terms and conditions of the service, you declare that you:
1. Accept the delivery times of the lending Libraries, for which the Acclavio Library is not responsible as they are NOT EMPLOYED ON ITS DIRECT ACTIVITY; (*)
2. Agree to personally search for Libraries on the opac.sbn.it website, possibly using the PCs made available by the Library and according to the instructions provided by our operators, and provide the list of texts (maximum 4) and of the lending Libraries indicating them in the table below;
3. Accept any costs requested by the Lending Libraries; (*)
4. Accept any costs requested by the Acclavio Library (reimbursement of shipping costs) (*)
5. Accept the obligation to respect the deadline and loan methods provided by the lending Library, considering that the return deadline must also include shipping times;
6. To be aware of the responsibilities, including of a criminal nature, provided for in the event of failure, late or incomplete return of the work;
7. To accept the obligation, in the event of any damage or loss of the work, to fully reimburse the costs relating to the lending Library, in the amount communicated by the latter;
8. To accept, as applicable, the Regulations of the Acclavio Library.
